The temperature and sunshine hours in Akureyri during July 2024 were above average.
According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office, the best weather in Iceland last month was in North and East Iceland.
July was relatively warm in the north. In Akureyri, the average temperature was 12.7°C, which is 1.5°C above the 1991-2020 average. Sunshine hours totaled 175.0, exceeding the average for that period by 22.5 hours.
