Winter Solstice is today 21st December.
The winter solstice is the day with the fewest hours of sunlight in the whole year, making it the “shortest day” of the year. Thankfully, after we reach the winter solstice, the days begin to once again grow longer and longer until we reach the summer solstice - the longest day of the year with 24 hours daylight - which will be on the 21st of June 2023
Sunrise today is at aprox 11:30 and sunset at 14:45. The day is going to be mostly clouded, only about -3˚C and almost calm weather - inviting to a nice walk outside
