Storm over Iceland

A heavy storm hit Iceland this week, but fortunately, it has now passed in our area, and we are looking forward to some nice weather this weekend.

While the storm wasn’t severe in Akureyri, it did lead to significant snowmelt and heavy rainfall. As a result, much of today's work has been focused on draining excess water in the lower areas of town, where it caused some issues, mainly in the residential neighborhoods of the old town.
