Grímsey Island has recently experienced an unusual increase in whale activity, with groups of up to 60 whales spotted around the island. This surge in sightings is believed to be due to favorable feeding conditions in the surrounding waters. The whales have been coming exceptionally close to the shore, offering a rare opportunity for photographers to capture stunning images from land.
