Spring made a delightful entrance as the first cruise ship of the season docked yesterday, on Sunday, April 14th.
Despite the lingering snow in the surroundings, enthusiasts of skiing reveled in the slopes of Mt. Hlíðarfjall, while a palpable sense of the season change filled the air.
Nature's migration spectacle unfolded as numerous flocks of oystercatchers, redwings, and a few common snipes graced the landscape with their arrival. With temperatures on the upswing this week, there's a collective optimism for the continuation of this trend.
