Guitarist and composer Daniele Basini lives in Akureyri and works at the Music Academy in Akureyri. On the occasion of the fact that he has now lived in Iceland for ten years, he wrote the composition STAĐIR for solo guitar, which is about four of his favorite places in Iceland, "this country that I now call home", in his own words.
