The show is about when Fóa Feykirófa drives Fóa out of her warm, beautiful cave and settles there herself. Fóa doesn't know what to do, but her friends, the lamb, the sheep, the ram and the ram all offer their help to get him back. However, it doesn't go without a hitch.
The Magic Books is a puppet theatre series for the youngest children that works with folk tales. When the book opens, it turns into a set for the story and the characters that appear become two-dimensional puppets that are controlled from above. Two actors control the puppets and take care of the entire play and live music performance. It should be noted that the shows are always relaxed as the hall is lit, no sound system is used for speech or music, and the audience is welcome to step aside if they need to rest. This is therefore exceptionally accessible as a children's first theatre experience.
The event is supported by the Akureyri Children's Cultural Fund.
The event is in Akureyri City Hall.
