We will drive to Þeistareykjavirkjun (Theistareykir Power Station). From there, we will start biking south along Bæjarfjall, then head east, south of Kvíhólafjöll and Þórunnarfjöll, all the way to Gjástykki and continue north along the old trails. We will stop at Stóra-Víti, a massive volcanic crater, approximately 300 meters in diameter. After that, we will continue along the trail down Bóndhólsskarð to Þeistareykjavirkjun. Those who have a bike carrier for transport can use it, while others can have their bikes transported on a bike trailer.
