The Icelandic Youth Alpine Ski Championship will be held from April 4th to 6th at Hlíðarfjall, where about 100 competitors aged 12-15 will gather to compete in three events. On Friday, there will be a giant slalom race, on Saturday a slalom race, and on Sunday, a fun parallel slalom.

The event is spectator-friendly from Strýtuskála. Also, for those who are not skiing, it is possible to buy a lift ticket to come and watch.

Additionally, the Icelandic Skiing Championship in Cross-Country Skiing will also take place over the weekend at Hlíðarfjall, offering a great spectator atmosphere and a fun vibe at the cross-country skiing house.
