Akureyri Open 2025 will be held on the weekend of April 4-5 in collaboration with Sjallinn!

We promise the biggest and most exciting tournament ever held in Iceland! We will surpass Akureyri Open 2024!
Surprise guests - unexpected performances - and plenty of other fun activities!

• The entire tournament will take place at Sjallinn. The competition starts at 14:00 on Friday and at 10:00 on Saturday.
• Knockout rounds are scheduled to begin on Saturday morning.
• The tournament will be played in group stages followed by knockout rounds – competing in both A and B finals.
• On Saturday evening, the final event will take place, transforming Sjallinn into SjallyPally, where the atmosphere will be at its peak! The men's quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will be played on the big stage, along with the women's final!
• Maximum number of participants: 224 (192 men and 32 women).
• Total prize value: 1,500,000 ISK!
• Entry fee: 10,000 ISK per person. The fee includes a ticket to the final event on Saturday evening and an ice-cold beer!

If payment is not received within 10 days of registration, the registration will be canceled, and a person from the waiting list will take the spot. The entry fee is non-refundable after March 1st if a player needs to withdraw from the tournament.
