The journey begins with a drive to Siglufjörður. From there, participants will cycle into Skarðsdalur and ascend the old road up to Siglufjarðarskarð. In good weather, the view extends westward to Strandir. The ride continues downhill into Fljótin and follows the main road through Strákagöng back to Siglufjörður. Participants with bike racks should use them; others can have their bikes transported on a trailer.
