"Mr. Rock" would have turned 80 on April 13th.

The sons of Rúnar Júlíusson will honor the memory of Mr. Rock, who would have celebrated his 80th birthday on April 25th, 2025.

An unforgettable evening where the legendary rocker’s career will be revisited through music and remarkable stories about Rúnar and his fellow musicians. Nothing will be held back – this will be an honest and heartfelt tribute revealing the many sides of one of Iceland’s coolest rock icons.

Joining Rúnar’s sons, Baldur and Júlíus, on stage will be guitarist Birkir Rafn Gíslason, bassist Guðni Finnsson, and drummer Arnar Gíslason – a lineup that promises a night to remember.
