Sigríður studied classical singing at the Eyjafjörður Music School and the Akureyri Music School where she graduated in 2014. She also played classical guitar and piano during his studies. She has worked in music education and music education in recent years at various schools in the Eyjafjarðar area. She has also been an active participant in the Freyvang Theatre over the years.

Brynjólfur is a naturalist by training and has mainly performed with the goddess of music with his band Helgi and the musicians. He taught music at the Eyjafjörður Music School for about a decade. Has been quite an active participant in the performance of music in the productions of the Freyvang Theatre over the years.

FROM TÓNGARÐURINN is the title of their concert of newly released original songs and songs about one thing and another pertaining to life in Eyjafjarðarsveit. The songs and songs are more or less new, written during the winter of 2022-2023. Recording was conducted under the direction of Haukur Pálmason. The project is an independent continuation of Sigríður and Brynjólfur ́s short joint musical career with the band Húsbóndar og hjúpar, which originated with the Freyvang Theatre's performance of the musical You Remember Jörundur. The music is varied, from rolls to folk and jazz-shot tunes. Many of the poems are written under accepted bragging practices, but they are not strictly observed. Sigríður and Brynjólfur will be supported by various musicians from the acquaintance group and there is a rich garden to grass.

The event is supported by the Verðandi music fund, which is a collaboration between Akureyri Town, the Hof Cultural Society and the Akureyri Cultural Society.
