Gunnar Þórðarsson is one of Iceland's most beloved musicians, both past and present. With over 800 songs to his name, he has also composed music for films and musicals. Additionally, he has arranged and conducted recordings for numerous albums. In recent years, Gunnar has increasingly turned to classical music, with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra performing several of his works.

At this concert, we will treat you to a selection of Gunnar’s beautiful pop classics, including hits like Fyrsti kossinn, Bláu augun þín, Gull, Vetrarsól, and many, many more.
