The singer Guðrún Ýr Eyfjörður, better known as GDRN, and the pianist Magnús Jóhann Ragnarsson are known to most of the country's people after having appeared in many places in their musical creations in recent years. Their album, Ten Icelandic Songs, was a huge hit when it was released in 2022, and now they have teamed up again and recorded a brand new album of Christmas songs. A few Christmas songs will be released on November 22 and includes songs such as Oðr fannhvíta jöður, Komdu om Joilin, Heim til ðin and other pearls. In addition to containing the first vocal duet of GDRN and Bríeta, the album contains an original song by GDRN and Magnús that KK performs with them.

Northerners can look forward to a Christmassy and heartwarming evening in Hömrum in Hof on November 30. The album's Christmas songs will be performed mixed with other well-known songs of the duo.
