Bubbi Morthen's Þorláksmessu concert

Bubbi Morthen's Þorláksmessu concert series is one of the most long-lived concert traditions in the run-up to Christmas

Bubbi Morthen's Þorláksmessu concert series is one of the most long-lived concert traditions in the run-up to Christmas, and there are many who cannot imagine Advent without them.
Þorláksmessa (St. Thorlak’s Mass) is an Icelandic holiday celebrated on December 23rd in honor of Þorlákur Þórhallsson, the patron saint of Iceland.

The concert is significant for the reason that this will be the 40th time that Bubbi has performed a Þorláksmessu concert. The first Þorláksmessu concert was held at Hótel Borg in 1985, or 39 years ago. Although the location of the concert has changed over the years, you can always count on Bubbi to show up with his guitar and sing his best-known songs on the night, capturing and examining the contemporary world with his unique genius.

The Þorláks fair concerts will be held at the following locations:
