The masterpiece Boléro by RAVEL will be performed for the first time in HOF by a large orchestra interpreted by maestro Bjarn Frímann Bjarnason.

Greta Salóme will tackle one of the most amazing violin concertos in history by Shostakovich, and a new concerto for orchestra by the beloved composer Snorri Sigfús Birgisson will be premiered.

The piece was written especially for the Northern Symphony Orchestra and is partly based on folk songs from the North Iceland.
