Father and son Þórarinn and Halldór Eldjárn perform a program in Davíðshús where they combine Þórarinn's poetry with Halldór's music. Þórarinn Eldjárn needs no introduction, as his poetry is "an Icelandic classic", as Sjón says in the introduction to the book 100 poems, which was recently published on the occasion of Þórarinn's 50th birthday as an author. Halldór Eldjárn is a musician and programmer. In his creations, he spins a web from these two threads so that a large world of sound is created. Halldór has been in many places and has worked with various artists, e.g. Ólafur Arnalds, GDRN and Björk. He founded the band Sykur together with his friends in 2008, which has released three albums. His first solo album was released in 2019 and is called Poco Appollo.
