6-10 pm: Vendors have Christmas-themed merchandise in decorated Christmas houses.

6-10 pm: Vamos will have a Christmas atmosphere outside at square and offers roasted almonds, Christmas mulled wine, cocoa, churros and pizza.

8:30 pm: Villi Vandræðaskáld and Dandri will play christmas music

9 pm: Church choir from Akureyri Church will sing christmas carols

Other activities available in the town center:

The secondhand bookstore Svartar bækur at Strandgata 11b will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
The shop Centro will be open until 6 PM on Sunday and until 10 PM on Þorláksmessa (23rd of December).
Sykurverk Café will have extended opening hours over the weekend.
Origo will hold special Christmas opening hours on Saturday.
