Weekend Trip: Cross-Country Skiing in Laugafell in the highlands.
Departure at 1 PM by private cars from FFA, Strandgata 23.

This is a three-day winter trip that requires appropriate winter gear. Accommodation will be in the Bergland and Laugafell cabins.
Day 1, Friday: Hólsgerði - Bergland
The group will drive to Hólsgerði, where skis will be strapped on for the hike. Overnight stay in Bergland.
Distance: 15 km. Elevation gain: 840 m.
Day 2, Saturday: Bergland - Laugafell
If the weather is good, the route will pass through Sesseljubær in Geldingsárdrög on the way to Laugafell. The warm pool at Laugafell awaits weary skiers. Overnight stay in Laugafell.
Distance: Approximately 20 km. Elevation gain: Minimal.
Day 3, Sunday: Laugafell - Hólsgerði
The goal is to reach the outermost farms in Eyjafjörður before dark.
Distance: 35 km, with significant downhill sections at the end of the day.
Maximum group size: 10 people. The guide will contact participants before departure regarding equipment and other details.

Includes: Accommodation for two nights and guide services. Payment for this trip is due upon departure.
This is a winter trip, so participants must be properly equipped. Necessary gear includes off-track skis with steel edges, warm clothing, warm shoes, and either a backpack or a sled.
