Departure at 18 by bus from FFA, Strandgata 23.
Tourguide: Jóhanna Ásmundsdóttir
Drive to Systragili in Fnjóskadal. From there you will walk across Vaðlaheiði, come down to Eyrarland on the Eyjafjörður side. This is an old national trail, so it's ideal to explore the old stone bridge, a stone bridge from 1871. Mostly you walk along trails. We end by walking from Eyrarland to Skógarböðin, where it is planned to eat at Skógur Bistro and go to Skógarböðin afterward.
The bus then picks up the group at 22. If people want to leave their cars at Skógarböðin at the beginning of the trip, they can take the bus from there.
Distance in total about 13 km. Ascent of about 530 m.
Price: 6,500/8,000.
Included: Bus and tour guide.
Not included: Food and access to the Forest Baths.
This trip is paid upon departure.
