Árni Árnason offers a short tour of the house Sigurhæðir.
In the early summer of 1903, the house arrived from a sawmill in Norway, was put together by a timber master during the summer, but Guðrún and Matthías moved in at the end of September of the same year with their people.
The house is on the slope above Torfunefsbryggja, later called Sigurhæðir.
Árni Árnason architect offers a guided tour of the house Sigurhæðir on Saturday 14 September at 1-1.30 pm, where he briefly talks about the old wooden houses, well-being, beauty and harmony in buildings and dwellings.
The guide will be conducted in Icelandic and pictures will be shown on a screen.
No entrance fee.
