The singer Guðrún Ýr Eyfjörður, better known as GDRN, has made a big impact in the Icelandic music scene since she released her first LP, What if, in 2018. That album received numerous music awards, a nomination for the Nordic Music Awards and a lot of attention. Since then, she has released a number of songs in collaboration with other artists and three LPs. GDRN (2020), Ten Icelandic songs (2022) and From me to you (2024).

On her latest album, we hear a bit more pop sound than on previous albums, but the album she worked with Þormóð Eiríksson. On May 11, she held a big concert in Eldborg and is on a big cruise these days. On July 26 Her route goes north to Grærna Hattinn, where she will perform all her most popular songs together with an orchestra.

The band consists of Bergur Einar Dagbjartsson, Reynir Snær Magnússon and Magnús Jóhann Ragnarsson.
