Birgir Örn Steinarsson, or Biggi Maus, has had one of the most amazing comebacks in the Icelandic music scene in the last two years after taking a break for years. He is best known for his work with the band Maus, but has now slowly pushed his solo career back.

He recently released the LP 'Little Death / Big Bang' to great acclaim. Now the plan is to hold a special release concert in Akureyri, where the album is recorded.

It is safe to say that the album received glowing reviews from critics, and Arnar Eggert Thoroddsen called the album, among other things, 'a million krónur pearl' in his review in RÚV.

The album was produced by Togga Nolem, who has previously worked with the Sagittarians, Kött Grá Pjé, the experimental band Mafama and the rock band Leður. The album will be released on vinyl on July 26.

Following the release, Biggi has formed a new concert band around himself, which he calls Memm. They are planning concerts around the country this fall and winter.

Þorsteinn Kári Guðmundsson, keyboard and guitar.

At the release concert, all the songs from the new album will be performed as well as selected songs from Bigga's 30-year career.
