Princess Dimmalimm befriends a beautiful and majestic swan. But, as in all great fairy tales, something unexpected and magical happens! Dimmalimm is one of Iceland’s most beloved fairy tales, written by the artist Mugg (Guðmundur Thorsteinsson) from Bíldudalur.
The puppet theater adaptation of Dimmalimm premiered at the National Theatre of Iceland in March 2019 and was performed to full houses repeatedly. Since then, the play has been staged in various locations, receiving enthusiastic and magical reviews.
