SúEllen is one of the most resilient bands in Iceland's history, but it was founded in 1983 in Neskaupstað.
The heyday of the band was from 1987-1994. Since then, the band has had a good run in concerts and the release of a compilation album and an album with new material.
The band's keyboard player Ingvar Lundberg died in 2022 and it was a big and heavy blow to the band, friends and family.
It was not clear if SuEllen would continue to work.
The surviving members have been thinking lately whether they should quit, shrink or jump? After good meetings and encouragement from friends and fans, it is now decided that SüEllen is going to take the leap - play, sing and enjoy. Everything in the spirit of Ingvar!
He asked us on his deathbed to never stop having fun and what is fun? Yes, a concert with Sú Ellen! Or so we think!
Guðmundur R. Gíslason, vocals and acoustic guitar

The keyboard player will be introduced later, as well as the guests of the concert
