Tones of the north is a program where works by northern authors will be performed. The Nordic region and not least Eyjafjörður have been rich in exceptionally talented people over the centuries.

Artic opera is a group of artists consisting of classically educated people in opera singing and playing instruments. The group will cover all the main pearls of Eyjafjörður and its surroundings that have made us happy over the years and filled us with pride to be part of Eyjafjörður's history. There will be singing in Icelandic and information between songs about the history of works and authors.

The event is sponsored by the VERDANI art fund, which is a joint project of the City of Akureyri, Menningarfélagin Hof and Menningarfélag Akureyri.
