DIMMA celebrates its 20th anniversary with a big concert together with the Norðurland Symphony Orchestra at Hof in Akureyri on October 5.

The program will feature DIMMA's most popular songs along with selected pieces from all the band's LPs, arranged in rock symphonic styles by Þorvaldur Bjarni Þorvaldsson, Haraldur Vignir Sveinbjörnsson, and Julian Kershaw, who has arranged for Paul McCartney, Kasabian, and Elvis Costello, among others.

Anyone who saw DIMMA and SinfoniaNord's previous concert almost a decade ago will agree that it was an unforgettable experience. It is therefore fitting that DIMMA celebrates its milestone anniversary together with SinfoniaNord, which now re-enters the soundscape of the popular heavy metal band and lends it a new dimension.
