Welcome to a tea party with Guðnýja Ósk Laxdal, an expert in the affairs of the British royal family. She maintains the Instagram account Royal Icelander, where she shares news and information. She wrote her BA thesis on the modernization of the British royal family.

 

Guðný will go over the main news in the royal world. She’ll take a look at the latest in the drama of the British royal family and discuss what Harry and Meghan are up to right now, and why there’s bad blood between them.

 

She’ll also go over what it is that royal families actually do in modern society and maybe compare this British one with other royal families in Europe. Why, for example, was Margaret of Denmark resigning, but Queen Elizabeth never did?
